About Margaret Weller

I have always loved taking photographs but only became a professional in later life after taking early retirement. Now it seems that I am as busy as ever supply outlets, appearing at village markets and occasional art and craft events.

I also love to travel and have collections of photographs from many parts of the world. In 2010 I went on a photographic trip to Bhutan with the famous Scottish photographer Colin Prior who led the ten day tour and gave regular tutorials and photographic assignments.

In 2011 I spent a month in Australia and amassed yet another huge collection of photographs. I was pleased therefore when asked to be able produce cards showing Koala Bears at the specific request of a customer.

In 2012 I had the opportunity to take photographs in the foothills of the Himalayas and in Canada along the St. Laurence River . Since that time I have visited New Zealand which provided bountiful opportunities for photography. I followed this in 2013 with a horticultural tour of Yunan Province in China and a walking holiday in the Norwegian Lofoten Islands.

I continue to enjoy travel and photography. Each photograph captures a moment to treasure and evokes memories that might otherwise not come to mind.

At the village markets and in local shops I meet many people who buy my cards and like to share details of their favourite Sussex beauty spots. It is a real joy to meet so many customers and get to know what they like and dislike or what they would like to see on new cards.
